The action-heavy plot is definitely at the centre of the book, with no real discernable relationship development. There is a lot of attraction between Parker and Nick, but to me the ‘boyfriend’ labelling came out of nowhere. We do get what is going on in the end, but I couldn’t help shouting ‘too much’ quite a few times.

The plot gets so complex with so many side threads, I could have done with a diagram to get a better overview. My head was spinning, and at times, I had no clue what was going on anymore.
